An original hand colored print titled: Frankfurt am Main. Fusilier, Grenadier, Oberst, Grenadier-Trommler, Grossherzoglich Frankfurtische, furstlich Primatische Truppen. 1809. It is Band II, Plate 40, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 162, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1891 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in fair condition with yellowing, a wrinkle on the top left corner, a crease along the right edge, and a piece torn off the bottom left corner. There are the remains of four mounting tabs on the back.
