An original hand colored print titled: Oesterreich-Ungarn. Infanterie-Offizier, Kavallerie-Offizier, Infanterist, Legionar und Offizierder academischen Legion, Scharfschutzen-Offizier, Scharfschutz, Wiener National-Garden. 1848. It is Band VIII, Plate 7, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 604, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1897 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in good condition with some yellowing and wear around the edges, but the bottom line of text with the plate identifier and publisher is cut off.
