An original hand colored print titled: Hessen-Darmstadt. Offizier und Grenadier von den Leib-Grenadieren, Grenadier von der Leib-Grenadier-Garde. Um 1750. It is Band VIII, Plate 8, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 365, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1897 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is generally in good condition, but there is a crease and a dealer's number in ink in the upper right corner and some repair tape on the back over the crease.
