An original hand colored print titled: Hessen-Darmstadt. Offizier, Husar vom Husaren-Corps. 1763. It is Band VIII, Plate 9, Uniformenkunde Gesamtverzeichnis no. 368, from the Uniformenkunde series of 1060 plates created by Richard Knotel to illustrate world uniforms from the 17th century to just prior to WWI.
The plate is from the original 1897 printing by Max Babenzien in Rathenow.
The condition is as shown in the product images which are photographs of the actual plate. The plate is in good condition but with some minor yellowing and wear and a dealer's number printed in ink in the upper right corner. There are the remains of glue along the right hand edge of the back where the plate was attached to the original book.
